Overview:
A food service assistant is responsible to assist the food services manager in the operations and daily activities of a kitchen. They are responsible for every single meal that a client and staff have. A few of the main duties of a food service assistant are greet clients, assist with ordering food and supplies, assist with resolving client issues and complaints, and training new employees. The ideal candidate for this role should possess good communication skills, excellent organizational skills, broad knowledge of business functions and management experience. The ability to support and assist the day-to-day operations of a highly productive, fast passed kitchen. Ensure the kitchen is run efficiently, mitigate risk, and ensure the needs of the clients and staff are met by the kitchen and the kitchen staff.
Knowledge:
● Bachelor’s degree or culinary degree preferred
