Overview:  
 
The Human Resources Assistant will report to the Chief People Officer, and dotted line to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for implementation and completion of the following responsibilities and duties:
 
Knowledge: 
  • Associate degree in related field preferred
  • 3 years of previous HR applicable work experience preferred
  • Highly organized with attention to details
  • General computer competencies and knowledgeable with the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • ADP experience preferred

Abilities: 
  • Distribution/collection/filing of new hire paperwork including processing of I-9s for the site
  • Coordination, processing, and verification of new hire background checks, physicals, and drug screenings for the site
  • Organize, compile, update company personnel records, data, and documentation maintenance
  • File Compliance organization and maintenance 
  • Assist with recruitment of potential applicants
  • Coordinate with HR Team on projects and major initiatives
  • Conduct research projects 
  • Help with new employee orientation, on-boarding to include new file setups 
  • Assist Chief People Officer with administrative tasks, meeting coordination, scheduling, and special projects as needed
  • Position will require some travel to our facilities to provide administrative support
  • Willingness to grow into the role and expand position over time
